The 2024 Hagerty Silver Summit starts in Colorado Springs, and finishes in La Veta Colorado. La Veta is about 1hr 45min south of Colorado Springs (in case you were heading to Google Maps!)

The Hagerty Silver Summit is our 100% tarmac classic car adventure which explores the fantastic roads and sights of Colorado. This budget-minded adventure is for pre-1979 and earlier touring and sports cars (with exceptions for select newer cars on an application basis). This un-scored, non-competitive event takes place entirely within the state of Colorado, and consists of approximately 700 miles of driving over three days. The event uses easy to follow way-finding instructions which are detailed and clear. No special calculations or rally knowledge is required. Driving is planned during daylight hours, and as per all our events, the route will remain secret until entrants receive their route book at registration. We promise three days of adventure filled with great roads, great cars and great people.

Vehicle Acceptance

The Hagerty Silver Summit Adventure is open to sport, touring and classic cars from 1979 and earlier. Sorry, no motorcycles on this event. All vehicles attending the Hagerty Silver Summit are expected to meet legal roadworthiness standards at an absolute minimum. Generally guests should ensure their vehicles are ready for a long weekend of driving through back-country and winding roads, keeping in mind that short jaunts around town may not fully prepare your vehicle for long hours of remote highways.

The Delorean Rule

Vehicles made after 1979 are considered on a case-by-case basis, under a rule we call “The Delorean Rule”. If you think your post-1979 car fits within the spirit of our events, simply enter as per normal and ensure we have some photos and background story on the car.

Hi John. Typically we say “no trucks”, but if it’s stock or street, as opposed to a big lifted off-roader, we will totally accept it!
