Classic Rag Run takes to backroads of Mission

Fifteen cars turned out for the first CCA Rag Run in Mission, BC on Sunday morning. Some new faces and cars joined a cast of “regulars” and after an hour-long drive through the backroads of Mission and Stave Lake, we arrived back at the Mission Springs Brewery restaurant. The group descended upon the buffet and scoured the two stacks of used car magazines that everyone had brought to share. Thanks to everyone who came out, even on a surprisingly grey overcast morning (summer, thou art a tease)! The Food Bank will also be receiving a much-needed overflowing box of food thanks to every one showed up. A great way to spend a Sunday morning!

Thanks again guys for a for a fun day.Nice group of down to earth people with a common love of old quirky cars. Great pics!
The drive home was equally amusing. I was schooled by a guy in a mid seventies Chevy pickup. Had him ’til 3rd gear..then he flew past me. Couldn’t stop laughing!Look foward to the next event,

    Hi there,

I have been madly looking online to rent a classic car ( austin healey) for my prom date and found this website of classic car enthusiasts! This may not be the place for me to look, but i live in abbotsford bc and my prom is this saturday and i am desperately trying to find an austin healey to take pictures with and arrive to my school in ( not driving it myself of course) if ANYONE CAN HELP ME please do!

Paul, that guy in the truck was so awesome I had to take a picture of both the challenge, and his sweet window sticker:

In case you couldn’t see it clearly during your “race”, the sticker is Calvin pissing on the words “ex-wife”
